Recruiting Specialist

About the role
Recruit for hourly positions and management jobs in aviation and ground/cargo handling. Source candidates from various career websites, including SAP (our internal applicant tracking system), and support the recruiting team by building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates. Actively source passive candidates through market research, professional relationships, and referral networks. Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop recruitment strategies. Manage the candidate search process, assess candidates, and apply leading-edge recruitment principles to deliver high-quality talent. Utilize recruiting methods such as internet searches, job fairs, and conferences. Develop interview protocols, evaluate applicants, extend employment offers, perform pre-employment verification, and facilitate onboarding. Execute badge applications for customs and port authorities and renew expired badges for current employees. Onboard new hires into automated systems.

Requirements
- One to three years of recruiting experience, preferably in aviation and cargo handling for hourly roles
- Independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work some weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, and days off
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English

- Familiarity with personal computer software

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., calculator, copy machine, printer)

- Handle/grasp documents or office equipment

Pay
$52,000 - $55,000 annually
