Responsibilities
- Partners with office leadership and practice group heads to write/revise job descriptions.
- Posts open positions internally and externally, using traditional and nontraditional resources such as job boards, social media, law school recruitment programs, and associations, to identify and attract quality candidates.
- Cultivates relationships with Career Services professionals, law student groups, affinity groups, and staffing agencies.
- Captures and schedules on-campus interview programs.
- Screens resumes and interviews candidates (by phone or in-person).
- Coordinates and manages the interview and selection process in virtual and physical space.
- Manages candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Captures and coordinates the annual Summer Associate Program.
- Captures and coordinates the implementation of CLE training programs.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of previous Recruitment and/or Professional Development experience in a law firm environment with a proven understanding of, and experience with, the core aspects of Human Resource Management.
- AA or BS Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Human Resources is preferred.
- Knowledge of local and federal laws and required reporting.
- A high degree of accuracy and detail orientation, good judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility in changing roles and priorities, and complete confidentiality in all matters.
- Must be a confident communicator, including both written and verbal skills) and must be able to effectively present to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to thrive in a changing paced environment with shifting deadlines and priorities.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service, with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and be flexible in changing roles or priorities quickly.
- Good working knowledge and competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word and Excel is required; Document Managing System experience is a plus.
Pay
- Annual Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually
