About the role
Hartford HealthCare is seeking an entry-level Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support the Talent Acquisition Department. This position will perform high volume, full cycle recruitment activities and processes for support service roles across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Screens and identifies qualified candidates in an applicant tracking system (ATS - Taleo, Phenom)
- Resumes and applications review using recruiting websites, social networking sites, job boards, etc.
- Covers interviews, extends offers, assists in the onboarding of hires, attends various recruitment functions, champions open houses, networking, etc.
- Works with Talent Acquisition team on optimizing applicant tracking system and existing search tools.
- Seeks innovation and best practice in recruitment, hiring and onboarding and incorporates into the organization’s hiring efforts.
- Performs special projects at the direction of a member of the recruitment team or management as assigned.
- Travels to various local sites and career events as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication or related field required.
- One year of recruiting experience working for a search firm or in-house Talent Acquisition Team; or related experience within a college internship required.
- Prior experience sourcing candidates via social media and resume databases, cold calling candidates, and conducting Boolean Searches preferred.
- Experience working with Taleo or other applicant tracking systems (ATS) strongly preferred.
