Recruiter Mission Critical

About the role

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a Recruiter to help fill both craft and leadership roles in our expanding, well-established business. This hybrid/remote position offers a base salary plus performance-based incentive compensation.

You will perform all functions related to the recruiting process for mission-critical and industrial electrical roles, ensuring compliance with company hiring policies and procedures. Travel is expected quarterly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement open requisition and pipeline recruiting activities.
• Review recommendations for new recruiting strategies with HR and management to staff projects with qualified craft workers.
• Effectively utilize ATS and online resources to post jobs externally.
• Maintain timely and accurate Applicant Tracking System updates and candidate statuses in compliance with company policies.
• Assist in communication of internal job postings and employee referral award programs.
• Represent the organization in developing relationships with local organizations to further community involvement.
• Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience filling electrical mission-critical data center roles.
• 2 years prior experience using ATS applicant tracking/recruiting software (Experience with Icims a plus).
• Proficiency with computer systems, MS Office, internet job boards, and knowledge of federal/state/local employment laws.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and detailed organizational skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) background check; MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
