Role Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting across maintenance and operations roles
- Partner closely with hiring managers in distribution, facilities, and supply chain operations
- Own req intake, sourcing strategy, screening, and offer management
- Recruit for roles such as: Maintenance Technicians (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration), Conveyor / Automation / Controls Technicians, Facilities Maintenance (including cold storage & refrigeration environments), Maintenance Supervisors / Managers
- Support hiring for adjacent roles when needed: Warehouse Operations Supervisors, Inventory / Materials roles, Distribution Center leadership
- Understand how maintenance integrates with overall warehouse throughput, safety, and uptime
- Candidate Screening & Technical Evaluation: Screen candidates on mechanical vs electrical skillsets, experience with automated warehouse systems, preventative vs reactive maintenance experience, validate experience maintaining equipment, performing inspections, and minimizing downtime
- Sourcing Strategy: Build talent pipelines from retail distribution centers (grocery, big-box, e-commerce), 3PL and logistics providers, manufacturing environments with warehouse operations, utilize platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and niche trades networks
- Operational Awareness: Understand DC environment requirements, Shift-based hiring (including nights/weekends), High-volume and urgent hiring needs, Safety-sensitive environments (OSHA, compliance, etc.), Unions, Partner with managers to prioritize roles impacting uptime and productivity
- Process & Tools: Use ATS systems to manage candidate flow and reporting, Track hiring metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, conversion), Ensure compliance with hiring standards and processes
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking experienced Recruiters with a proven track record hiring for maintenance and technical roles within distribution center or warehouse environments. This role requires hands-on experience recruiting for skilled trades and maintenance teams that support high-volume supply chain operations. The ideal candidate understands the complexity of maintaining equipment and infrastructure in fast-paced DC environments and can effectively source, assess, and deliver niche talent.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting experience
- Proven experience recruiting for maintenance, facilities, or technical roles
- Experience supporting distribution centers, warehouses, or manufacturing environments
- Strong sourcing capabilities for skilled trades talent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience Recruiting In Grocery or retail distribution networks
- Cold storage / refrigeration environments
- Automation-heavy warehouses (conveyors, robotics)
- Familiarity with: Maintenance terminology (MRO, preventative maintenance, CMMS)
