About the Role
A Corporate Recruiter acts as a talent acquisition partner, collaborating with hiring managers and HR to recruit, interview, and hire top talent. This role involves full-cycle recruiting strategies, ensuring a great candidate experience, and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines for mid-to-senior-level construction management, engineering, and architecture roles in food and beverage process facilities. The recruiter will also proactively source and engage passive candidates to meet growth and replacement needs.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end recruitment from job opening approval through candidate acceptance.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ abilities and provide hiring recommendations.
- Perform technical recruiting, including identifying needs, sourcing talent, networking, and interviewing to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Develop and implement proactive talent sourcing strategies using platforms like Indeed.com, LinkedIn Recruiter, and AI to engage top passive candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring targets and advise on total compensation packages and recruiting strategies.
- Attend business discipline strategy meetings for recruitment activities.
- Recruit locally and nationwide.
- Partner with the marketing team to enhance employer branding through social media, trade shows, community outreach, and job fairs.
- Manage the applicant tracking system, including posting and updating job descriptions.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, gather feedback, and review interviewer assessments.
- Proactively plan and oversee college fairs, info sessions, and engagement opportunities to build relationships with universities for internships, co-ops, and entry-level roles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- 4-6 years of corporate recruiting experience, including sourcing and full-life-cycle recruiting.
- At least one year of experience in a search firm or agency is preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in recruitment sourcing, including Boolean search techniques and online database searching.
- 3+ years of recruiting for construction management roles (mid-to-senior level, including traveling roles).
- 2+ years of recruiting for engineering roles (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical/Process, Automation & Control, Packaging, etc.).
- 4-6 years of experience conducting intake meetings and building rapport with stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Experience with UKG recruiting and onboarding modules is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Travel
Approximately 10% travel is required for college recruiting events, office visits, and project site visits to enhance recruiting efforts.
