Responsibilities
- Sources, interviews, and recommends candidates for experienced and hard-to-fill roles.
- Collaborates with business groups to forecast hiring needs and explore sourcing options.
- Researches and recommends new hiring solutions for experienced and hard-to-fill positions.
- Head implementation teams to deliver new hiring and selection solutions.
- Aids in recruiting diverse candidates matching Walsh's diverse regions.
- Develops and supervises strategies for recruiting and retaining diverse talent.
- Manages applicants in the ATS, including applicant sources, data, and selection status.
- Follows up with hiring managers as necessary.
- Manages the time to complete the selection process for a great candidate experience.
- Reviews recruiting survey data for experienced hires and follows up to improve the candidate experience.
- Aids divisions and/or corporate management with onboarding to facilitate a smooth transition.
- Coaches management on the complex onboarding process for experienced hires.
- Reviews experienced hire onboarding survey data and follows up to ensure new hires receive necessary training and resources.
- Develops communication materials in various formats to meet recruiting needs.
- Works with the Marketing Department on social media campaigns, email blasts, and company web pages to maintain a strong employer brand.
- Pairs with headhunting firms to assist in delivering qualified candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
- Reads headhunter contracts for compliance with company standards and stores them in the department's database once signed by the Director of Recruiting.
- Maintains current knowledge in HR, recruiting, selection, and retention through education, training, networking, and professional organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or a related business discipline, or equivalent experience in an HR role, specifically Recruitment.
- PHR / SPHR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a sourcing or selection position for experienced hires.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong follow-up and time management skills; works well under time constraints, manages multiple priorities, and meets deadlines.
