Contract Recruiter Location: Portsmouth, NH - Hybrid Duration: 6-9 month contract Compensation: $30–$40 per hour About The Opportunity Our client is seeking a recruiting professional who can help build teams as they experience rapid-growth. This assignment will focus on identifying, attracting, and securing talent for newly established operations, ensuring each location is staffed with the people needed to support ongoing growth. The ideal individual enjoys working in evolving environments, creating talent pipelines from the ground up, and partnering closely with operational leaders to solve hiring challenges in competitive labor markets. Key Responsibilities Lead recruitment efforts from initial intake discussions through offer acceptance and onboarding transition.Collaborate with department leaders to understand staffing priorities, position requirements, and local market conditions.Conduct candidate evaluations and provide hiring teams with thoughtful recommendations and market insights.Identify qualified professionals for operational, technical, supervisory, and management-level openings.Build relationships with active and passive candidates through networking, online sourcing, industry contacts, and community outreach. Qualifications 3+ years of recruiting experience managing full-cycle hiring responsibilities.Previous success recruiting for operational, skilled trade, field service, manufacturing, construction, facilities, or similar workforce populations.Experience building candidate pipelines in unfamiliar or emerging markets.Ability to manage a high-volume requisition load across multiple locations and hiring managers.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and modern sourcing platforms.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Comfortable working independently and driving results with minimal supervision.Experience supporting project-based, contract, or rapid-growth hiring initiatives is beneficial.
