TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to clients worldwide. Our client provides services to the travel industry, including catering, onboard retail, food service provisioning, and food logistics, and is a supplier to many major airlines.
About the role
This is a temporary, onsite assignment based in Seattle, WA, with a duration of 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Supports implementation of Division strategy to identify and attract the best external talent.
- Establishes recruiting requirements and develops and implements a recruitment strategy.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges, outplacement agencies, recruiters, media, and Internet sites; provides organization information and opportunities.
- Evaluates applicant qualifications by screening applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Supervises hourly employee applicant intake process.
- Maintains applicant and position data using required tools; collects and analyzes data to refine recruitment strategy.
- Assists in the development, implementation, and utilization of enterprise workforce planning tools and metrics for anticipatory staffing.
- Ensures weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensures recruiting and hiring practices comply with affirmative action and national and local employment laws.
- Supports deployment of the client’s employment brand.
- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required.
- 2-4 years of experience in a human resources-related role or a degree in a human resources-related field with 2-4 years of recruiting experience in a high-volume environment (e.g., transportation, hospitality, manufacturing, or food service) highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment law.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
- PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
- Multi-lingual skills highly desirable.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
