Sectra is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Shelton, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for a variety of positions across the organization
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and develop recruitment strategies
  • Sources, screens, and evaluates candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
  • Conducts recruiter screens and guides candidates through the interview process
  • Collaborates with hiring teams to ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience
  • Manages candidate communications, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer processes
  • Builds and maintains talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Promotes talent attraction initiatives through partnerships with colleges, universities, and professional organizations
  • Supports employer branding and recruiting marketing efforts
  • Tracks recruiting metrics and provides hiring updates to stakeholders
  • Maintains accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the applicant tracking system
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across recruiting, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes
  • Travel as required, up to 25%

Qualifications

  • You have 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in-house or within an agency environment
  • You are passionate about building relationships and helping people find meaningful career opportunities
  • You are highly organized and capable of managing multiple searches and priorities simultaneously
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are comfortable partnering with managers and influencing hiring decisions through data and market insights
  • You enjoy sourcing and proactively identifying talent rather than relying solely on applicants
  • You are detail-oriented and take pride in providing a high-quality candidate experience
  • You are self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment

Nice to have

  • Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, healthcare IT, software, or customer-facing positions
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems
  • Exposure to recruiting metrics, workforce planning, or talent market analysis
  • Experience supporting university recruiting or internship programs
  • Familiarity with employment laws and recruiting best practices
