Sectra is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Shelton, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for a variety of positions across the organization
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and develop recruitment strategies
- Sources, screens, and evaluates candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
- Conducts recruiter screens and guides candidates through the interview process
- Collaborates with hiring teams to ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience
- Manages candidate communications, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer processes
- Builds and maintains talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Promotes talent attraction initiatives through partnerships with colleges, universities, and professional organizations
- Supports employer branding and recruiting marketing efforts
- Tracks recruiting metrics and provides hiring updates to stakeholders
- Maintains accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the applicant tracking system
- Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across recruiting, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes
- Travel as required, up to 25%
Qualifications
- You have 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in-house or within an agency environment
- You are passionate about building relationships and helping people find meaningful career opportunities
- You are highly organized and capable of managing multiple searches and priorities simultaneously
- You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You are comfortable partnering with managers and influencing hiring decisions through data and market insights
- You enjoy sourcing and proactively identifying talent rather than relying solely on applicants
- You are detail-oriented and take pride in providing a high-quality candidate experience
- You are self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
- You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
Nice to have
- Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, healthcare IT, software, or customer-facing positions
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems
- Exposure to recruiting metrics, workforce planning, or talent market analysis
- Experience supporting university recruiting or internship programs
- Familiarity with employment laws and recruiting best practices
