We are looking for a Recruiter to support hiring needs while also managing key compliance activities for a contract opportunity in Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for someone who can balance high-volume recruiting with detailed document review, particularly for driver and independent contractor populations. The position will begin with on-site training for the first two weeks and may transition to a hybrid schedule afterward.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for driver and independent contractor roles across multiple locations, with a focus on candidates operating larger vehicles.
- Source, screen, and move applicants through the hiring process using effective recruiting strategies and applicant tracking tools.
- Review weekly compliance reports and follow up on outstanding items to help maintain accurate and current worker records.
- Examine uploaded documentation to confirm required credentials and eligibility, including insurance coverage, licensing, and related driver qualifications.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to keep recruiting activity organized, timely, and aligned with business needs.
- Support hiring operations by maintaining candidate records, tracking status updates, and ensuring documentation is properly recorded.
- Help deliver coverage during a leave period by managing both recruiting priorities and compliance-related administrative tasks.
- Participate in initial on-site training and adapt to a hybrid work arrangement based on team needs after onboarding.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recruiting experience, including full-cycle hiring responsibilities.
- Background recruiting drivers, independent contractors, or transportation-related talent, preferably involving larger vehicles or truck-based roles.
- Experience working in high-volume recruiting environments across multiple sites or regions.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing methods used to identify and engage candidates efficiently.
- Ability to review compliance documents carefully and verify information with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are preferred.
- Comfortable working on-site during training and in a hybrid model afterward.
