About the role
This is a full-time, on-site Recruiter role based in Tukwila, WA. The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting phone and in-person interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions in partnership with hiring managers.
- Posting job ads and leveraging online platforms and community outreach to build talent pipelines
- Organizing hiring events or information sessions
- Ensuring an efficient and inclusive candidate experience by communicating clearly, scheduling interviews, and supporting background and reference checks
- Maintaining accurate candidate records and tracking recruitment metrics
- Collaborating with operations and HR to meet staffing needs while supporting PalAmerican’s culture and core values
Qualifications
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers for a variety of roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging candidates, hiring managers, and external partners in a professional and inclusive manner
- Ability to use applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR databases, job boards, and social media platforms to attract and track candidates
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple requisitions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic employment laws, fair hiring practices, and non-discriminatory recruitment standards
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, network within the community, and represent the organization at job fairs or recruitment events
- Previous recruiting or HR experience in security, protective services, or a similar service-based industry is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant HR or recruiting certifications being an advantage
