Join the EvergreenHealth HR team in Monroe, Washington, where you'll play a pivotal role in attracting and hiring top talent to support our mission of delivering exceptional patient care. As a Recruiter, you'll manage the end-to-end recruitment process, collaborate with department leaders, and help build a compassionate, dedicated workforce that positively impacts our community. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities
- Manages the full-cycle recruitment process for all positions, including responding to applicant requests, reviewing staffing needs with hiring managers, posting and advertising vacant positions, visually screening application materials, phone pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews, participating in interviews, making hiring recommendations, recommending wage placement, coordinating reference checks, and negotiating contingent job offers.
- Functions as an expert resource for management, candidates, and employees regarding the applicant tracking system, including completion of requisitions, job templates, employment applications, and applicant screening.
- Assists with completion of Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) and the Position Review Committee (PRC) process.
- Develops and maintains appropriate recruiting materials including social media, ads, websites, brochures, and mailings.
- Monitors the advertising budget.
- Develops recruiting contacts with agencies, schools, and attends recruiting functions as appropriate.
- Works collaboratively with the Recruitment Team at affiliate hospital EvergreenHealth Kirkland.
- Participates on committees and works on varying projects.
- Coordinates reference checks, background checks, and manages the new hire credentialing and onboarding process for newly hired employees.
- May meet with new employees for HR orientation and coordinate with Employee Health Nurse for employee health records.
- Manages the Hospital Wide Orientation (HWO) process and facilitates the bi-weekly HWO session, including prepping session materials and ensuring communication to internal and external parties of attendees.
- Manages the electronic employee personnel record software, including maintaining legally compliant and up-to-date personnel records, problem-solving, timely scanning and indexing of documents into appropriate sections of electronic personnel files.
- Responds to requests for copies of personnel files.
- Provides backup to Human Resources Business Partner as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; equivalent relevant education/experience.
- 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience to include 1 year of full-cycle recruitment (advertising, sourcing, and conducting a search).
- Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail while managing multiple complex projects and priorities to successfully meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates effective customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
- Sensitivity to and knowledge of various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of employees, physicians, volunteers, management, and public relations.
Qualifications
- 5 years of work experience in healthcare recruitment (preferred).
- Certified Health Care Recruiter (CHRC) certification (preferred).
