Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain all recruitment advertising, including social media channels and proactive talent database mining.
• Represent the organization at job fairs, educational institutions, and community events.
• Respond quickly to all candidate inquiries.
• Coordinate interviews and tours with selected candidates.
• Communicate daily the status of interviews, screenings, new hires, and other requested metrics.
• Schedule selected candidates for on-boarding and orientation with the HR Generalist.
• Utilize current recruiting and HRIS systems proficiently.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Demonstrate strong communication and computer skills, including LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Bi-lingual candidates preferred.
• Assist with other duties in the Human Resources office as needed.

Requirements

• One or more years of direct recruiting experience in a high-volume work environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Basic mathematical skills for calculating figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and basic algebra/geometry concepts.
• Problem-solving ability in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, and taste or smell.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Indoors with adequate heating, cooling, lighting, and ventilation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
