Job Summary
The Associate Recruiter II and III are responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for security personnel, ensuring compliance with hiring standards, and contributing to the development and implementation of recruitment strategies tailored to the unique requirements of the security industry.
Responsibilities
Source, identify, and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and outreach campaigns.
Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews (phone, video, or in-person) with candidates and hiring managers.
Assess candidate qualifications and make recommendations based on job requirements and organizational fit.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet company staffing needs, particularly for security-focused roles.
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the onboarding process.
Coordinate with HR and training teams to ensure timely onboarding and compliance with federal, state, and contractual requirements.
Facilitate candidate orientation and provide support through the early employment stages.
Maintain regular and professional communication with candidates to ensure engagement, transparency, and timely updates.
Deliver a high-quality candidate experience by providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all stages of recruitment and candidate evaluation.
Track candidate progress within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
Ensure hiring and onboarding processes are compliant with all internal policies, client requirements, and legal standards.
Support data reporting on hiring activity, conversion metrics, time-to-fill, and other key recruitment performance indicators.
Work closely with Operations and Corporate Recruiters to align recruiting efforts with workforce demands.
Respond to questions and provide guidance to hiring managers, applicants, and HR team members regarding recruiting procedures.
Support recruiting-related administrative tasks and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
Understand and apply company- and client-specific requirements for security personnel hiring.
Facilitate or verify background screening processes, drug tests, and other security-related pre-employment checks.
Maintain awareness of security-related equipment, terminology, and procedural expectations relevant to hiring.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a security, staffing, or compliance-driven environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS); experience with systems is a plus.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.
Familiarity with employment laws, recruiting compliance, and HR best practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage candidate expectations and deescalate challenging situations with professionalism.
