About the role

Provides therapeutic activities to psychiatric inpatients. Direct care for adult and geriatric patients is provided.

Responsibilities

• Job has direct care for adult and geriatric patients and must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned unit.
• This is a PRN position.

Requirements

• Required associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
• 6 months experience in behavioral health preferred
• BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association is required upon hire.
• De-escalation training within 30 days or proof of prior certification.
