SUMMARY OF POSITION
The recreation therapist provides group, milieu, and individual therapy services on the inpatient psychiatric units with special consideration to theoretical approaches and evidence-based practice. The recreation therapist utilizes their specialized expertise to contribute to the individualized plan of care and meet the biopsychosocial needs of patients.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)
- Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation with special populations required - One (1) year of related experience required - Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential required - PA Act 31 completion - CPI and BLS required prior to orientation completionPREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S)
