About the role

Provide therapeutic recreation services to individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement recreational activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Assess clients' needs and progress towards goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify treatment plans.
• Document client progress and communicate with supervisors and families.

Requirements

• Current California license as a Recreational Therapist.
• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles and practices.
