How You'll Make An Impact Job Summary: Provides educational and therapeutic interventions (coinciding with patients’ treatment plans and treatment modalities) constructive and beneficial to patients’ mental health. Reports: Manager/Expressive Therapies (job code (JC): 120301) Supervises: None What You’ll Need To Apply Required Education: Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, music therapy, or art therapy (including coursework or an internship in a medical setting) Required Experience: None Required Certification/License/Registry: None Preferred Certification/License/Registry: One of, or eligible for one of, the following: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC), Music Therapist--Board Certified (MT-BC) credential from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT), or Art Therapist Registered--Board Certified (ATR-BC) credential from the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB).
