Recreation Therapist - Lifestyle Wellness (Anaconda/Butte)

AWARE is looking for a Recreation Therapist to join our compassionate and fully engaged team. Responsibilities

• Work remotely in an assigned location/region.
• Travel via personal vehicle or AWARE vehicle to designated cities/regions to meet with clients and provide services.
• Use assessment and observational skills to evaluate client needs.
• Plan and implement Therapeutic Recreation (TR) interventions to increase client independence in lifestyle.
• Research and apply evidence-based practices in Therapeutic Recreation.
• Design TR protocols, session plans, and processes.
• Implement interventions sensitive to client age, cultural background, developmental stage, and disabling conditions.
• Document and evaluate services for efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation meeting NCTRC standards.
• Completion of an NCTRC-approved internship.
• CTRS certification at hire strongly preferred or ability to obtain national CTRS certification within one year of hire.

Pay

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
