Recreation Specialist

About the role

Responsibilities

• Assists with work involved in planning, organizing, and carrying out department's total recreational services.
• Administers a well-rounded program of diversified activities in the assigned recreation component.
• Sets up and maintains a stocked first aid kit in assigned area.
• Submits a schedule of monthly activities and special events to supervisor.
• Chaperones and directs off-Center trips and ensures necessary funds are available.
• Maintains recreational equipment and follows CDSS/CSS/BMS plans and procedures.
• Models, mentors, and monitors all Career Success Standards to help students become more employable.
• Participates in PRH mandated staff training.
• Performs other duties as assigned within the individual’s scope and capabilities.
