About the role
This is a part-time position and is ineligible for benefits.
Responsibilities
- Work a varied schedule to include daytime and evening hours as well as weekends to include rotating Sundays.
- Provide outstanding customer service at the areas of assignment.
- Maintain clean and safe environment.
- Enforce policies and procedures.
- Handle registrations and assist with promoting Town activities.
- Greet patrons, check-in members, and respond to inquiries related to programs, services and special events.
- Distribute appropriate equipment to customers.
- Maintain and update supply list for assigned area.
- Monitor facility activities and rentals for participant compliance with health and safety rules.
- Prepare accident and incident reports when indicated.
- Perform light janitorial duties in areas of assignment.
- Perform basic administrative and front desk tasks including answering phones, printing/copying, filing, and preparing reports.
- Open and close facilities according to established policies and procedures.
- Handle cash, reconcile receipts and cash register at end of shift.

- Promptly meet and greet The Cove™ customers, ensure the efficient operation of the front desk area, and provide courteous and efficient service.
- Register participants in classes and special events, sell and process member registrations, check-in members, and book facility rentals in recreation management software.
- Provide information and promote facilities, programs, and services when in contact with members and guests.
- Enforce The Cove™ facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor The Cove™ activities and rentals for participant compliance with health and safety rules.
- Afford assistance with programming, rentals, special events, and sponsored Town of Little Elm activities, including set up and cleanup.
- Ensure assigned areas are cleaned and maintained at all times.
- Perform daily inspections of assigned work area and technology systems.
- Create work orders and notify supervisory team as needed.
Requirements
- At least 16 years old and have six (6) months customer service or public contact experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain CPR and AED certifications within six months from date of employment.
- Valid Texas Drivers License.
Qualifications
- Education/Training/Experience: Must have the ability to obtain CPR and AED certifications within six months from date of employment. Must be bondable. Valid Texas Drivers License.
