Recreation Leader I
About the Role
We are seeking Recreation Assistants and Recreation Leaders to join our team at The Gym at Les Gove Park in Auburn, WA, from October 2026 to May 2027. These positions are part of our Birthday Party Packages and Kids' Night Out programs, working 5-15 hours per weekend.
Responsibilities
Recreation Assistant:
- Assist children ages 5-11 in group activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, and free play.
- Help with set up and takedown of the program.
Recreation Leader:
- Lead children ages 5-11 in group activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, and free play.
- Oversee set up and takedown of the program.
Requirements
Recreation Assistant:
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Recreation Leader:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must enjoy working with youth and be able to work well with other program staff.
- Must have a current First Aid and CPR certification or be willing to obtain certification within 2 weeks of employment.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to work weekends and evenings (Saturday and Sunday).
