Recreation Facility Supervisor

Responsibilities

• To supervise the day-to-day operations of a community center in the Department of Parks and Recreation;
• To ensure the center is operated in compliance with all applicable guidelines, standards, policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an Associate's degree or two (2) years of college coursework in Parks and Recreation Management, Recreation Administration, Parks Administration, Leisure Sciences, Physical Education, or a related area; two (2) years of experience in directing athletic or recreational programs, or a related area; one (1) year of supervisory experience.
• Additional Requirements: Valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position; Standard First Aid and Community CPR certifications, or other certifications which incorporate Standard First Aid and Infant, Child and Adult CPR, within six (6) months of employment, and maintain certifications for the duration of employment in this position; Available to work outside normal working hours including shift assignments, nights, and weekends.
