Recreation Facility Coordinator - STVCC

This position is located at St. Vincent Community Center.

12:30 pm – 9:00 pm; days may vary.

Pay

Starting salary is $18.75 hourly.

Responsibilities

• Operate the front desk: answer phone calls, check in guests, and process memberships or registrations
• Support pool cashier and concession stand during pool season as needed
• Complete registration forms and collect fees for programs, memberships, and reservations using Civic Rec software
• Monitor facility operations and users (athletic leagues, open play sessions, track/fitness center users, renters) for safety and compliance with facility rules
• Administer program site by ensuring proper setup and breakdown for programs and rentals
• Coordinate emergency first aid procedures
• Maintain and schedule use of related equipment and supplies
• Maintain facility log book to record attendance figures
• Respond to public inquiries about use of recreational facilities, parks, and programs
• Ensure proper opening and/or closing of facility, including locking/unlocking doors, counting cash totals/deposits, and related tasks
• Perform related work as required

Requirements

• Two years’ experience with recreation or customer service; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation or a related field may be preferred
