Recreation Coordinator

Location: Logan, Utah

Department: Parks & Recreation – Recreation Division

FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt

Pay

$15.00 – $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, promote, oversee, and perform a wide variety of recreation tasks.
• Monitor, facilitate, and schedule activities such as pickleball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, and flag football for youth and adults.
• Schedule officials and volunteers, and sometimes prepare facilities for programming.
• Ensure a safe environment for recreation activities and act as a positive example of safety and sportsmanship.
• Create public‑relations materials such as flyers as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a standard senior high school or equivalent.
• Red Cross CPR Certification highly desired; may be obtained within three months of employment.
• Spanish‑speaking preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, department heads, and the public.
