Recreation Coordinator - Aquatics

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement aquatic programs and activities for all age groups.
• Oversee the maintenance and safety of all aquatic facilities and equipment.
• Provide instruction and supervision in water safety, swimming lessons, and other aquatic activities.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other recreation staff to ensure comprehensive programming and services.

Minimum and Preferred Entrance Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration, Physical Education, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in aquatic programming and/or facility management.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
