Recreation Assistant Temporary Position

We are now hiring a Recreation Assistant to join our team. The position offers a competitive salary range of $20 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead group and independent activities for the resident population
• Aid in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs
• Ensure programs align with the resident's assessment and care plan

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to plan and lead groups
• Strong multitasking and individual needs planning skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in a skilled nursing environment or working with the elderly
• Experience in activity programming
• Experience with dementia care or long-term care
