About the Role

The Recreation Assistant will provide activities of a physical, mental, and spiritual nature tailored to the individual abilities, needs, and desires of those we serve in order to enable them to enjoy the highest quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver recreational activities suited to residents' physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
• Adapt programs to individual abilities, needs, and preferences.
• Work a minimum of two shifts monthly, including one weekend day (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in long-term care and/or dementia care preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.

Pay

$19.00 hourly rate.

Parker at Somerset is a 120-bed post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care residence located on 10 wooded acres in Somerset, New Jersey.
