Recreation Aide - Sports and Facilities

About the role

The City of Ferndale Parks & Recreation Department is looking for an energetic, dependable Recreation Aide to help support our sports programs, special events, camps, facility rentals, and other community recreation activities. This hands-on, part-time position is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working with people, and being part of a fun, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Support sports programs, special events, camps, and facility rentals
• Set up and break down equipment
• Assist with community recreation activities

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of sports
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work a combination of weekdays, evenings, and weekends
