Recreation Aide

Job Summary

The Gurwin Jewish: Fay J. Lindner Residences is seeking a per diem Recreation Aide to join their team. This position works weekends from 9:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily activities and programs as directed by the Director of Recreation
• Relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other facility staff
• Work in an adult population in Recreation within a healthcare setting
• Specialization in areas such as music, art, arts & crafts, and dance may be required

Requirements

• One year prior experience working with an adult population in Recreation in a healthcare setting
• Assisted Living experience is preferred

Qualifications

• Special interest in working with the elderly
• Positive attitude towards working with the elderly
• Adhere to the highest level of customer service for seniors
