Recreation Aide

About the role

As a Recreation Aide on our team, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, providing compassionate support along their health journey. In turn, we are dedicated to ensuring our team of caregivers feel the same compassion provided to the residents.

Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility
• Computer knowledge
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required
• Must be energetic, creative, empathetic and a team player

Schedule

Evenings 2 days per week and weekends day shift
