Responsibilities
- Implement the facility’s Recreation activities and engage residents in familiar routines of daily living through personalized tasks.
- Provide residents with encouragement, prompts, and hands-on assistance.
- Conduct Recreation Programs according to the Monthly Calendar and as assigned by the Recreation Director.
- Complete electronic and paper charting of One-on-One and Room Visit Programs accurately and timely.
- Maintain records of resident participation in group and one-on-one programs in the electronic chart.
- Lead programs such as music, crafts, recreation, exercise, religious service, and other group programs as assigned/scheduled, ensuring accurate and timely group participation records.
- Communicate new leisure, interest, or needs identified during visits to provide varied leisure interventions consistent with the Resident’s interests.
Requirements
- A High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Experience working with senior groups or leading/group activity assistance preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with various types of arts and crafts preferred.

Pay

Schedule
- Full time, 5 days a week and every other weekend.
- Monday through Friday hours: typically 9a-5p and/or 10a-7:30p.
- Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) hours expectation: 4 hours each weekend day.
