About the role
This position is located at: Fort Polk Aquatics Center - Fort Polk, Louisiana.
The Fort Polk Aquatics Center offers a variety of aquatic facilities for all ages, including a 25 Meter Pool, Splash Park, and a newly renovated 50 Meter Pool. These facilities provide a range of activities for both recreational and competitive swimming as well as water-based sports and fitness classes.
This position is seasonal.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a Pool Attendant in a designated pool facility.
- Works under the direction of the Assistant Aquatics Manager.
- Affords assistance in the overall operation of the pool.
- Checks for proper identification and provides information and general rules of the facility.
- Issues towels to authorized guests, checks maintenance of the facility and reports any problem to management.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of assigned area.
Requirements
Conditions of employment:
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- The incumbent may be subject to additional background checks if required to have regular and recurring contact with children.
