About the role

This position is located at Fort Leavenworth FMWR Trails West Golf Course. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program. Management has the right to assign staff to locations as missions require.

Responsibilities

• Act as Starter/Marshall, ensuring tee sheets run on time.
• Pair singles and twosomes and threesomes to maximize usage of available tee times.
• Aid golfers in need of playing partners.
• Keep flow of play moving on the golf course.
• Assist customers in finding lost balls to maintain play.
• Assist in pulling up and staging the fleet of golf carts for play.
• Assist in washing and parking the fleet of golf carts when not needed.
• Provide facility and program information to patrons.
• Assist with simple repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

Conditions of employment:

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.
• Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• May be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Willing to accept an Intermittent, or Flexible Appointment.
• Must be able and willing to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

No Experience Required. Education: This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

Benefits

There are no incentives or bonuses offered for this position.

Pay

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.

Schedule

The schedule will be based on the needs of the activity. Must be able and willing to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
