Recovery Technicians PART TIME EMPACT

About the role

This is a great opportunity to join EMPACT-Suicide Prevention Center, part of the La Frontera family, where you can make a transformative impact by supporting clients in a 24/7 facility. The role requires a mix of day, night, and weekend shifts, including on-call periods.

Responsibilities

• Counseling, education, and supervision of clients in individual and group settings
• Planning and carrying out daily activities for clients
• Evaluating clients during activities
• Consulting with and making referrals to other community agencies
• Maintaining clinical documentation including progress towards goals, activity records, medication observation records, shift notes, etc.
• Intervening in crisis situations and preventing potential crises
• Providing orientation to new clients upon intake

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Inpatient or Residential experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years
• Fingerprint clearance card or eligibility to obtain one
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of employment
