Recovery Support Specialist

Position Overview

Specific Responsibilities

• Makes patient activity checks, completes documentation including rounds sheets, therapeutic activities notes, and End of Shift reports; records patient behavior.
• Participates in direct patient care, ensuring patient safety and therapeutic interaction.
• Aids in daily patient schedules, de-escalation processes, and belongings processing.
• Monitors Business Center/Workflex for compliance and patient activities at Wellness Center/Fitness Center.
• Assists with New Patient Orientations and visitation programs.
• Supports 12-Step Programs and facilitates RCA Clinical Curriculum.
• Performs and documents patient vital signs, transports patients and belongings (as applicable).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience of 1 year in substance use disorder treatment preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Proficiency with technology and familiarity with behavior modification and 12-step modalities.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record (as applicable).
• Customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to new situations.
• Time management and physical demands suitable for the role.
