RECOVERY SPECIALIST-TEMPORARY
Overview
The recovery specialist possesses the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to competently provide non-clinical assistance and recovery supports while maintaining follow-up with participants. The recovery specialist will work with individuals to support and strengthen their capacity to engage in their personal recovery.
Experience Required
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Strong communication skills in the form of both written and verbal
Education Requirements
- HS diploma or GED required
License/Certification Requirements
- Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Certification, required within 6 months of employment
- Mental Health First Aid certification, required within 6 months of employment
