Recovery Specialist (part-time)

Location: Weymouth, MA - Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) Inpatient Treatment Program

Schedule

32 hours per week: Sunday, Monday, Friday, and Saturday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Pay

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment at all times with an emphasis on high-quality services and customer satisfaction
• Facilitate the movement of clients around the building and grounds in a safe and orderly fashion
• Provide transportation for clients and support program operations using the program vehicle when needed
• Conduct alcohol and drug screens on clients using an approach that demonstrates respect and dignity
• Assist with admission and discharge procedures as required
• Oversee clients' general housekeeping chores, participate in light housekeeping as needed, and ensure units remain clean and orderly

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred, but not required
• Excellent verbal, social, and writing skills
• Ability to use appropriate independent judgment to determine the course of action in resolving problems and emergencies
• Effective communication in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff, and regulatory agencies
• Basic computer skills to make entries and utilize electronic health records
