Recovery Project Engineer

About the role

The Recovery Project Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing recovery projects to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement recovery strategies for critical systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and develop mitigation plans
• Develop and maintain documentation related to recovery processes
• Conduct regular testing and validation of recovery procedures
• Provide technical support during disaster recovery exercises

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations or project management
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using ITIL and/or TOGAF frameworks

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry-standard recovery tools and technologies
• Experience with data backup and recovery solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Technical proficiency in IT infrastructure and operations
• Strong understanding of ITIL and TOGAF methodologies
• Experience with cloud-based disaster recovery solutions
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
