About the role
This position offers a Certified Peer Support Specialist who provides peer support services to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. The role involves facilitating group sessions, providing individual counseling, and collaborating with healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group sessions and provide individual counseling
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients in recovery
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in peer support or mental health field
- Valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle
- Passing score on a background check

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery processes

Pay
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with some evening and weekend availability as needed.
