Qualifications
- Certification from an approved Recovery Coach curriculum to include Recovery Coach Academy within twelve months of eligibility.
- Continued BSAS and other accredited Trainings and Certifications as required for the Recovery Coach professional.
- GED/ HS Diploma.
- 3-5 years of Human Service background preferred.
- Open to medication assisted treatment and harm reduction concepts and goals.
- Proficient Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Community Resources and support for links in the community.
- Strong listening, oral and presentation (communication) skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse community.
- Ability to honor Recovery Coaching Ethics, skills and confidentiality/HIPAA.
- Knowledge of Spanish language, Cultural Competency and ASL considered an asset.
