Recoup Associate

About the role

This role involves unloading products from trucks, breaking down pallets, stacking products, assisting with sanitation, and fueling, washing, and cleaning semi-trucks/trailers.

Responsibilities

• Unload products from trucks; breakdown pallets and stack products on pallets.
• Move or handle dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork, and tobacco products as per order forms.
• Absorb and communicate with supervisors regarding damaged or out-of-stock products.
• Operate power industrial equipment such as electric pallet jacks and high-extender high lifts.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by disposing of waste and cleaning spills.
• Participate in product rotation and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior experience operating power industrial equipment such as electric pallet jacks preferred.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, day and evening hours, and overtime as assigned.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Knowledge of safe working practices and multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, day and evening hours, and overtime as assigned. Must understand and communicate in English, including reading and interpreting order forms and selection labels. Must be able to follow verbal (oral) and written instructions. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse operation. Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and other material handling/industrial equipment. Must follow safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies and practices. Must be able to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g., freezer, coolers, dry conditions).

Skills

Must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, operate power industrial equipment, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
