About the role

The extended range classifications within this job perform a broad spectrum of assignments related to mental health services, including individual and group psychotherapy, evaluations, and investigations, and professional counseling.

Responsibilities

• Perform individual and group psychotherapy
• Conduct evaluations and investigations
• Provide professional counseling
• Adhere to applicable professional licensing laws
• Travel throughout the County as required

Requirements

• License: Valid California License as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist
• Experience: Currently employed in a regular position with the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health as a Clinical Therapist I and have two years of post-license experience as a therapist in a mental health or social service setting
