Records Manager

We are selective about the cases we accept, prioritizing quality over volume. This family-owned firm has offices in Beverly Hills, downtown Los Angeles, and Riverside.

About the role

The Records Manager will process and organize evidence and case-related documents, ensuring proper handling, care, storage, preservation, and tracking. This role involves using software to manage electronic records, maintaining physical files, and making all evidence and records accessible and organized. The Records Manager will oversee filing assistants and collaborate with staff and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process and retain firm evidence and records in compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and State Bar regulations.
• Organize and preserve electronic records using CMS, SharePoint, and other record management systems.
• Create and maintain physical filing systems.
• Oversee the work of filing assistants.
• Ensure all evidence and records are accessible, organized, and ready for use.

Requirements

• Prior records management experience.
• Strong technical skills and experience with CMS, SharePoint, and other record management systems.
• Top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn firm-specific software and processes.
• Experience with industry-standard software suites.
• Ability to exercise discretion and communicate clearly with staff and external stakeholders.

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 per year.
