Responsibilities

• Maintain, secure, and store all written and electronic records within the nursing center in accordance with federal/state regulations and the company's records management program.
• Perform accurate and current diagnostic coding to ensure appropriate patient care billing.
• Create medical records for all new patient admissions.
• Perform routine audits of medical records from admission through discharge to monitor compliance with policies regarding documentation, physician visits, and timeliness.
• Maintain the electronic diagnosis list.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• College degree strongly preferred or commensurate experience is required.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $20.00 – USD $20.00 per hour.
