Record-to-Report Accounting Analyst Job

About the role

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day Record-to-Report (R2R) activities.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for recurring accounting activities
• Perform account reconciliations; investigate variances and resolve differences with appropriate support
• Maintain clear, organized documentation to support internal controls and audit requirements
• Audit support by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain information and resolve accounting-related questions
• Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to updates as processes evolve
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and standardization

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and 2+ years’ experience or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• SAP S4 Hana, Fiori experience is highly valued
• Strong technology skills, including Excel and other reporting tools

Skills

• Ability to exercise independent judgment to ascertain the reasonableness and accuracy of information
• Understanding of accounting best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to adapt to fast pace and rapidly changing environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficient understanding of end-to-end business processes from record to internal/external reporting
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this role is to $70,000 to $82,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.
