Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Reconstructive Urologist or recent fellowship graduate to join a dynamic urology team as the sole reconstructive specialist within the system. The role involves clinical care, surgical procedures, teaching, research, and program development.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient consultations and follow-up care focused on reconstructive urology
- Perform specialized surgeries such as urethral repairs, urinary diversions, fistula repairs, and implant procedures
- Mentor urology residents and medical students, supporting academic growth
- Contribute to clinical research and maintain Level I Center status
- Lead expansion of reconstructive services and serve as system-wide expert
Key Duties
- Balance outpatient clinics and inpatient surgical procedures
- Participate in call rotation, providing coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of urologists and advanced practice providers
- Contribute to academic activities and clinical research initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
- Board-eligible or certified urologist
- Completed or seeking specialization in Reconstructive Urology
- Interest in teaching, research, and program development
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in reconstructive procedures
