Reconstruction Project Manager (Working PM – High Performance)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team at SERVPRO®. This position involves managing reconstruction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, quality, and adherence to budget.

Responsibilities

• You’ve run reconstruction jobs end-to-end and know where projects fail
• You can manage subs while maintaining control of schedule, quality, and budget
• You understand how to protect margin while keeping jobs moving
• You don’t wait on others—you solve problems and keep production advancing
• You’re just as comfortable working with an adjuster as you are picking up tools when needed
• You demonstrate strong client relations
• You have excellent communication skills (timely and clear)
• You have 5+ years in reconstruction/restoration project management
• You have strong knowledge of residential construction (demo → finish) terminology
• You have experience with insurance-driven work and Xactimate scopes
• You have proven ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
• You have a valid driver’s license
• You have 10+ years in general construction knowledge across multiple trades
• You are comfortable in active jobsite environments (tight spaces, ladders, etc.)
• You are able to lift 50+ lbs

• You are not PMs who lead from the front and don’t require micromanagement

Qualifications

• 5+ years in reconstruction/restoration project management
• Strong knowledge of residential construction (demo → finish) terminology
• Experience with insurance-driven work and Xactimate scopes
• Proven ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license
• 10+ years in general construction knowledge across multiple trades
• Comfortable in active jobsite environments (tight spaces, ladders, etc.)
• Able to lift 50+ lbs

• Strong base + performance incentives tied to job margin & production targets
• Schedule control: Maintain ≥90% on-time project completion
• Marginal protection: Target ~40% GM (including all costs/fees)
• Subcontractor management, scheduling, and quality control
• Scope execution based on Xactimate estimates and approved supplements
• Jobsite leadership—set expectations, enforce standards, keep production moving
• Customer communication (homeowners, adjusters, PMs) with clear, direct updates
• Change order management with ≤48-hour turnaround
• Job documentation and file readiness for billing
