Our mission is to minimize the interruption to our clients’ lives and restore properties quickly—making it “like it never even happened.” Job Description The Reconstruction Estimator plays a critical role in helping the team win work and provide exceptional service to clients. This position is responsible for inspecting damages, preparing detailed and accurate estimates in Xactimate, and working closely with customers, insurance carriers, and internal teams to ensure successful reconstruction projects. The ideal candidate not only understands construction and insurance scopes but also supports the sales process by building trust with clients and clearly communicating the value of our services. Responsibilities Conduct site inspections and walkthroughs with customers and team membersReview job documentation, photos, and reports to develop accurate estimatesPrepare complete and organized scopes of work using XactimateCollaborate with the sales and project management teams to help win reconstruction projectsEducate clients on the reconstruction process, timelines, and expectationsHelp clients understand their options for upgrades or changes beyond the base scopeCommunicate clearly and professionally with insurance adjusters and third-party administratorsAnalyze material, labor, permitting, and equipment requirements for each jobDeliver well-documented estimates to the team in a timely mannerIdentify and communicate project challenges early to minimize delaysMaintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat/referral businessSupport internal handoffs by working closely with the production team after the sale is made Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferredMinimum 2 years of experience using Xactimate to estimate restoration or reconstruction workMinimum 2 years of reconstruction or insurance adjusting experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindsetProven ability to support the sales process through relationship-building and professionalismExperience in restoration, insurance claims, or large-loss estimating preferredFamiliarity with Docusketch and other documentation tools preferredHighly organized with strong attention to detail and time managementMust have valid Driver’s License to travel to jobsites Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 pending experience Benefits 401(k) 4% MatchHealth, Dental, Vision insurance Vacation Work Environment Full-time position, generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Occasional overtime, jobsite visits, and after-hours work may be requiredLocal travel to job sites and client meetings
